Two new divisions have been added to the State Champsionships for 2009.
Independent: Any private/independent school may participate in this division. This is open to any private/indepedent school that is not a member of NCHSAA. There is no limit to the number of participants due to the limits on cutting in the private sector.
Novice: This division is open to any school in any classification. The Novice rule limitations will apply for stunts and tumbling. (No tumbling higher than back handsprings and No doubles from any stunt) This division should appeal to the first time competitors and those schools that haven’t competed in a while or who are building their program.
We are excited to offer these new divisions at States this year!

Please contact NCCCA President Amiee Barnette-Vetter (cheercoachv33@yahoo.com) if you plan to compete in the Co-Ed division at States this year. There are some minor changes to the partner stunt rubric for this division and we want your input before approval at our region meeting.
